Oxoklin® Fast-acting chemical cold sterilant
Oxoklin® is a chemical cold sterilant, based on peracetic acid, intended for industrial and professional use. It has a rapid action against bacteria, fungi, yeasts, mycobacteria, viruses and spores, through a cellular oxidation mechanism.
It is effective even at low temperatures and in the presence of organic matter (blood, pus, biological debris). The product is chemically stable under the recommended conditions of use and easy to apply by various methods.
At concentrations between 1% and 5%, Oxoklin® offers proven microbiological efficacy in time intervals between 5 and 15 minutes, depending on the purpose of use and the type of microorganisms targeted.
After use, the product decomposes into acetic acid, water and oxygen, reducing its environmental impact. Application is simple: spraying, wiping, immersion, respecting the recommended concentrations and contact times.
It is used in medical facilities, laboratories and professional spaces where high standards of hygiene and safety are required.

Surfaces without direct food contact
The product is intended for use on surfaces that do not come into direct contact with food or animal feed.
For instruments and medical devices, rinsing with sterile water is required after disinfection, according to the instructions in the technical sheet.

Instructions for use
Prepare the working solution by diluting the product in potable or distilled water, at room temperature, at the recommended concentration depending on the purpose of use.
Example for a 3% solution:
30 ml concentrate + 970 ml water = 1 L ready-to-use solution.
The prepared solution should be stored in closed containers, away from light, at room temperature, and used within a maximum of 24 hours after preparation.
Apply the solution by spraying, wiping, or immersion, observing the recommended concentrations and contact times.

- Measure the product and prepare the working solution in potable or distilled water, at room temperature.
- Homogenize the solution until completely dissolved.
- Apply the desired method:
- Spraying / wiping surfaces – application with a manual sprayer and clean synthetic cloth.
- Immersion of medical instruments – 5% solution, 15 minutes, using a lidded tray.
- After disinfecting the instruments, rinse with sterile water.
- Use the prepared solution within a maximum of 24 hours.
Recommended uses

- Disinfection of medical instruments by immersion – 5% solution, minimum 15 minutes.
ℹ️ Note: First remove visible organic residues, wear protective equipment, and comply with the product's safety data sheet. On surfaces not in direct contact with patients or food, rinsing is not necessary.
