Desogen® Aero Surface Disinfection by Nebulization
It is a professional disinfectant for surface disinfection by nebulization (dry fog). It is used as is for standard disinfection or diluted 20–50% v/v for low-level disinfection. It does not foam, does not require wiping or rinsing, does not discolor, and neutralizes unpleasant odors.
Key benefits
- >99% biodegradable ingredients; no aldehydes, phenols, chlorine, preservatives.
- Nebulization application — homogeneous coverage, minimal surface contact.
- Does not require rinsing/wiping, does not stain, is not corrosive.
- Proven effectiveness (relevant EN standards), including in high-traffic areas.
- Good cleaning/degreasing capacity + odor control.
Recommended for
Hospitals, clinics, laboratories, polyclinics, medical offices, ambulances, triage/waiting areas, changing rooms, consultation rooms, office/canteen areas in medical facilities.
Physico-chemical characteristics
- Appearance: colorless, translucent/slightly opalescent liquid, specific odor.
- pH: 2.3 ± 0.5; water-soluble.
Instructions for use
Method: nebulization only (dry mist), on clean surfaces. Standard dosage 10 ml/m³, contact time 30 min (EN 17272). Use as is (100%) or diluted 20–50% v/v for low levels.
🔽 Step-by-step application details
- Step 1: Connect the equipment to 220V and attach the product container.
- Step 2: Set the flow rate for 10 ml/m³ (see calculation example below).
- Step 3: Start the cycle and leave the room (PPE according to SDS – skin/respiratory protection).
- Step 4: After 30 min contact, ventilate for 10–30 min; personnel re-enter only after ventilation.
- Quick note: the product should not be applied to food and should not be used in direct contact with it.
🧮 How to correctly set the equipment (calculation example)
- Target: 10 ml/m³ nebulized product.
- General formula: Volume on slider = Actual room volume × (Target ml/m³ ÷ Appliance default dose ml/m³)
- Example (50 m³, 3 ml/m³ appliance): 50 × (10 / 3) = 166.7 m³ → round up to 170 m³.
- Verification: 170 × 3 = 510 ml total → 510 / 50 = 10.2 ml/m³ (slightly over, to avoid underdosing).
- Quick examples: 30 m³ → slider 100 m³ (300 ml total) · 120 m³ → slider 400 m³ (1,200 ml total).
Recommended uses
- Disinfection of treatment rooms, laboratories, ambulances, triage/waiting areas, changing rooms, offices/canteens in medical facilities.
- High-traffic areas and frequently touched surfaces where uniform coverage without wiping is required.
ℹ️ Note: Follow SDS instructions (personal protective equipment) and ensure room ventilation for 10–30 min after the cycle. The product should not be used on food or in direct contact with it.
Validated in the lab. Effective in the field.
